A dedicated 240 V heater circuit typically costs $300–$1,500 when your panel has room. A backyard cabin that needs a feeder and a subpanel typically runs $3,500 or more. A panel or service upgrade is extra. A licensed electrician does this work.
An outdoor cabin needs a level base: a gravel pad with skids at about $1,000–$1,500, concrete piers at about $1,500–$2,500, or helical piles at about $3,000–$4,500 for a four-pile cabin. We choose it with you at the estimate.
Set by your town. On Long Island a building permit and electrical inspection run about $550 in North Hempstead. If your town wants sealed drawings, allow about $2,000 for an architect or engineer.
Tell us your town and what you have in mind. We visit, look at the space, the delivery route and the power, then send a written price. No cost and no obligation.
