Bring a complete equipment list.

The heater body is not always the whole system. Controls, power units, sensors, lighting and other accessories may be separate. A combination sauna can have more than one heating system. Identify every component and confirm compatibility before purchasing.

• Exact sauna and heater model, including the regional configuration.
• Manufacturer installation manuals and wiring diagrams.
• Specified voltage, phase and power rating.
• Controls, power units, sensors and included accessories.
• Proposed equipment locations and the route from the electrical supply.

Do not choose the circuit from a product headline.

A wattage or a photo of a plug is not a complete installation specification. Ask a licensed electrician to confirm the available supply, panel capacity, wiring route and all applicable installation requirements using the current manual and local requirements.

There is no universal breaker size, cable size or connection method for a home sauna. Do not reuse another model's electrical arrangement without checking it. Resolve any conflict between a catalog summary and the manual with the manufacturer before work starts.

Size the heater with the room.

Check the manufacturer's room-volume range and its instructions for glazing and other exposed surfaces. Record the room's internal dimensions, construction and glass area. A heater that physically fits may still be unsuitable for the enclosure.

Clearances, sensor placement and ventilation are part of the installation plan. Keep the manufacturer's required access available after the room is finished. Changing a bench, wall finish or heater location during construction can require a fresh check.

Put responsibility in the quote.

Confirm who supplies the compatible equipment, who carries out the electrical work and who handles any required inspection and commissioning. Complete those checks before the sauna is used. Product supply and electrical installation should be clearly identified in the written scope.
