Questions to answer before ordering
How much does a Solaire sauna cost?
Solaire provides a written quote after reviewing your project. Published package prices are not currently available. Share your preferred model or room dimensions, project location, and budget. We gather the details on a design call, review the scope, and send the written quote afterward. Compare what each quote includes before comparing totals.
What should a complete sauna quote cover?
Ask for the cabin or room construction, interior materials, benches, heater and controls, delivery, and installation to be identified. Also confirm who handles the pad or foundation, electrical connection, site access, permits, and any lifting equipment. For a shower or plunge, confirm water and drainage responsibilities. Each item should be included, excluded, or assigned to someone in writing.
Should I choose an indoor or outdoor sauna?
Choose an indoor model when you have suitable space within the home and a workable plan for the floor, ventilation, moisture management, and electrical supply. Choose an outdoor model when you have space for the cabin and can prepare the base, access route, and utility connection. Start with the property: the available room or yard usually narrows the choice faster than appearance alone.
How do I choose the size and bench layout?
Start with how many people will use the sauna at the same time, whether anyone wants to lie down, and the available floor area. Review usable bench space, the entry path, ceiling height, and heater clearances together. The exterior footprint alone does not tell you how comfortably the room will work. Solaire reviews the layout with you before confirming the design.
Can my own contractor install the sauna?
Yes. Solaire can agree an installation scope with your contractor and provide drawings, an installation playbook, and consulting support. Solaire installation is also an option, subject to project location and scope. Confirm who receives the delivery, prepares the site, assembles the cabin, connects the equipment, and handles commissioning before ordering.
What does my property need before an outdoor sauna arrives?
Review the planned location, a suitable prepared base, delivery dimensions and access, and the route for utilities. Send photos of the location and access route, plus rough dimensions and any available drawings. The selected cabin and heater determine the detailed requirements; the site plan and responsibilities are confirmed during scope review.
How do I choose a sauna heater?
Match the heater to the room design and the manufacturer’s sizing and installation requirements. Room volume, glazing, wall construction, clearances, electrical supply, and intended use all matter. Solaire reviews the heater package alongside the layout; the electrical work and final installation need coordination with the appropriate trades.
Where does Solaire deliver and install saunas?
Solaire is based in the NYC metro area and works with projects across the United States. Local service areas include the Jersey Shore in Monmouth and Ocean Counties and the Hamptons. Delivery, Solaire installation, and support for your own contractor are confirmed for each address and scope; nationwide project inquiries do not imply that local installation is available everywhere.
How long will my sauna take?
The schedule depends on the chosen model or custom design, factory availability, transport, site readiness, and installation scope. Solaire confirms the project schedule after reviewing those details. Ask for the design approval, production, delivery, and installation stages to be distinguished rather than treating a shipping estimate as the completion date.
Are the model images photographs of finished saunas?
The catalog images are Solaire design renders, labelled as renders. Use them to compare the design direction and layout. The projects page contains selected work; final materials, dimensions, equipment, and scope are confirmed in the project documents.
